Vanity Plate allows you to quickly search to see if a given license plate is available in your state.
Normally when you want to check the availability of a word or phrase for use on a personalized plate, you would go to your state DMV website, fill out the necessary info for what kind of vehicle, what type of plate, etc. and then use their web interface to search for a plate. This is a very tedious process, especially in states like California.
With the Vanity Plate app, it's very quick and easy to search and see if the plate you desire is available.
The program uses our search engine server which was specifically created for speedy and reliable plate searches. As we add more states, or should we need to make changes in the search criteria, those changes are done at our server so the app does not need to be updated should a given DMV change their system.
You can also email search results to yourself or others.
